Born in 1962 Mr. Kewalchand P. Jain decided to join the business at early age after completing school. He learnt the business on the job and spearheaded the groups’ foray in to branded apparel business. A keen student of finance and a hands-on manager he heads the finance functions of the company and is responsible for the overall management of the affairs of the company.

Mr. Kewalchand P. Jain along with his brothers entered into apparel manufacturing business through a partnership firm called M/s. Keval Kiran & Company. Over a period of time, Kewal Kiran group comprised of various companies and firms. It was long felt need of Mr. Jain to consolidate the business under single corporate umbrella to achieve the benefits of consolidation of marketing and manufacturing operations. Hence, the restructuring started with the conversion of the partnership firm, M/s. Kewal Kiran & Company into a private limited company. Over the years Kewal Kiran Group consolidated its operations and in the year 2005-06 the company entered the capital market. The issue was oversubscribed by around 12.56 times. The shares of the company got listed on Bombay Stock Exchange Ltd. (BSE) and National Stock Exchange of India Ltd. (NSE) on April 13, 2006. Now Kewal Kiran Clothing Limited is an integrated apparel manufacturer with capability of designing, manufacturing process encompassing cutting, body stitching, washing and ironing & finishing and marketing of branded men’s wear apparel. The company has ventured into organized retailing under the trade name K-Lounge in the year 2005. As on date the company has over 250 operational retail stores across the country.

In the year 2006-07 Mr. Jain has been awarded the prestigious ‘APEX BRAND ENTREPRENEUR OF THE YEAR AWARD 2005-2006’ by CMAI and the prestigious ‘ACHIVERS AWARD 2006’ by The Junior Chamber International Marine Lines, a worldwide federation of young leaders and entrepreneurs

Mr. Jain is a trustee of Jatnobai Karmchandji Ratanparia Chauhan Charitable Trust. He is also the treasurer of Shree Jain Vyapar Udyog Seva Sansthan. Mr. Jain has been actively involved in many spiritual and social activities and is also an active member of Jain International Trade Organisation (JITO).

Mr. Jain is also the Chairman of Kornrstone Retail Ltd., Kewal Kiran Management Consultancy Ltd., Kewal Kiran Finance Pvt. Ltd., Kewal Kiran Media and Communication Ltd. and Kewal Kiran Realtors and Infrastructure Pvt. Ltd., Kalpavriksh Realtors and Infrastructures Pvt. Ltd. and Lord Gautam Charitable Foundation.
